Three Rivers Regional Library System
The Three Rivers Regional Library System provides services for public libraries and their patrons in Brantley, Camden, Charlton, Long, McIntosh and Wayne counties. The administrative offices of Three Rivers Regional Library System are located in Jesup, Wayne County, Georgia. Camden was the first county to have a member library, in 1949. Six other counties joined the regional library system in the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s, bringing library services to all of southeast Georgia. In 2000, the regional library system was named Three Rivers Regional Library System, a tribute to the three rivers – the Altamaha, the Satilla, and the St. Marys – that tie the region together. The member libraries are: Brantley County Library, Nahunta, Brantley County Camden County Public Library, Kingsland, Camden County Charlton Public Library Inc., Folkston, Charlton County Hog Hammock Public Library, Sapelo Island, McIntosh County Ida Hilton Public Library, Darien, McIntosh County Long County Public Library, Ludowici, Long County St. Marys Public Library, St. Marys, Camden County Wayne County Library, Jesup, Wayne County Three Rivers member libraries boast an annual circulation of more than 430,000 items region-wide. All Three Rivers libraries are members of Georgia PINES--Public Information Network for Electronic Services. Library patrons have access to more than 9 million items at more than 275 public libraries in Georgia. PINES offers many advantages that most Georgia libraries could not provide individually, including one statewide library card and free materials loans between member libraries. To learn more about PINES, visit http://www.georgialibraries.org/public/pines.php. Patrons of any Three Rivers library may also use GALILEO (GeorgiA LIbrary LEarning Online) either at the library or at home. GALILEO provides access to over 150 licensed, commercial databases at no charge to the user. Several databases offer full-text journal articles on a wide variety of subjects. Most databases are available for use outside the library, though a password is required. This password, which is changed quarterly, is available at any Three Rivers library. Mission Statement The mission of the Three Rivers Regional Library System is to provide constituents, through its member libraries, access to print and non-print informational, educational, and recreational resources to empower an informed citizenry and enable lifelong learning. For this reason, we shall make available a wide variety of learning tools to our patrons, including current technology.

Tropical Treasures
Welcome With the love of finding unique treasures during his frequent travels, Wayne DuBois created our line known as Tropical Treasures. With beautiful designs inspired by such exotic landscapes including the Carolina lowcountry, itself, in addition to the tropical seas abroad, each piece is as exotic and distinct as those lush sceneries that inspired their creation. In the early 1990's their business travels sent Wayne Dubois and his business partner Karen on frequent trips to the Europe, Mexico and ultimately South East Asia. They both shared a love of finding unique items indigenous to those areas, and so began their obsession of collecting special "treasures" on their adventures. They would spend hours roaming the local markets to find that "must have" or "one of a kind" item. It was an on-going search for the unusual and unique. On one particular trip to South East Asia, on which Karen was unable to accompany him, Wayne went in search of a gift for his absent friend. He was introduced to a local silversmith, and it was here that he found the perfect present. "Wearable art" created from silver and shells, an unusual and unique treasure that would take her breath away. It is now 2006 and Wayne has moved to Charleston SC. He wanted an adventure, something new to dabble in, and his first thoughts drifted to creating jewelry. Tropical Treasures was born in the modest dwelling of his own garage in Charleston SC. Wayne was inspired by his many trips to Southeast Asia, and the local silversmith. He wanted to recreate that "wearable art"; the jewelry with a special WOW factor. From that passion and inspiration Tropical Treasures Jewelry was created. The only venue at that time to display and sell his art was the local Charleston open-air market. The same setting in which he had become accustomed to finding his own treasures throughout the years. Another local merchant upon seeing the unique designs encouraged Wayne to become a wholesaler. Broaden the reach so others would be able to purchase his wonderful creations. The local merchant just happened to own a jewelry store, and purchased several pieces to sell. Alas the Tropical Treasure line had found its first retail home.
